Authorities are investigating a fake website that falsely appears to be of Pizza Town in Lebanon.
“We would like to inform our community about a scam page made of a local business,” the Russell County Sheriff’s Office said via a statement. “Pizza Town in Lebanon was made aware of a fake business page set up for people to order food and pay online. Pizza Town does not have online services.”
Pizza Town’s Carmine Graziano said, “Lebanon and customers of Pizza Town, beware of scam.”
Graziano added, “Someone started a fake website to order and pay online. It’s fake, not us! We do not have online services.”
The bogus website offers reservations, online ordering, pictures of a menu and reviews of Pizza Town. The address of the fake website is pizzatown.website.
Anyone with information about the creators of the site is urged to contact the Russell County Sheriff’s Office or Lebanon Police Department.
