Lebanon 3, Holston 2 (Volleyball)
Jaidyn Fields (19 assists, 18 kills, 10 digs) and Kenlie Fields (34 digs) were the catalysts as Pioneers outlasted Holston, 25-15, 20-25, 21-25, 25-21, 15-6, in non-district play to remain undefeated.
Carliee Ingram (19 assists, 15 digs), Abby Mullins (eight kills), Brooklyn Sutherland (12 digs), and Kaytie Lampkin (seven kills, six blocks) were all important in the win.
Bailee Singleton (10 digs, three aces), Lydia Reid (15 digs, 10 kills), and Haleigh Dutton (13 assists) led the Cavaliers.
Wednesday (9/10)
Eastside 3, Honaker 1 (Volleyball)
The Spartans rallied, winning the last three sets to notch a 12-25, 25-14, 25-16, 25-16 non-district win over visiting Honaker.
Abby Ward totaled nine kills, 10 digs, three aces, and 16 service points to pace Eastside.
Heidi Craiger (10 kills, six blocks), Lexi Nixon (26 assists, 12 digs, eight service points, three kills), Dakota Clay (34 digs, eight service points), Katie Williams (11 digs, four kills) and Harper Mullins (seven digs, three aces) also played for the Spartans.
Aliyah Hilton had 17 digs for the Tigers. Kyndall Miller (five kills) and JuJu Farmer (four kills) played well on the frontline in the loss.
Thursday (9/11)
Lebanon 3, Tazewell 0 (Volleyball)
Kenlie Fields was unstoppable from the service line, recording 21 aces as the Lebanon Pioneers defeated Tazewell 25-7, 25-15, 25-14 in a Southwest District win.
Kaytie Lampkin contributed seven digs, five kills, and three blocks. Carlee Ingram totaled nine kills and three aces. Jaidyn Fields added nine kills and five aces, leading the Pioneers.
Honaker 3, Castlewood 1 (Volleyball)
The Lady Tigers secured a four-set 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 25-23 win over their Russell County rival, Castlewood, for their first win of the season.
Leanna Franklin had 28 assists for the Blue Devils, while Kadence Culbertson (11 kills) and Kayla Ervin (nine kills) were the top hitters.
