Ninth District Congressman Morgan Griffith has announced that People Incorporated of Virginia has received a grant worth $144,000.
The grant was awarded to People Incorporated from the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
The funds will support Head Start and Early Head Start projects.
“People Incorporated is an advocate for Head Start services in Southwest Virginia,” Griffith said. “This grant for more than $144,000 helps People Incorporated support local families in our region with Head Start services.”
People Incorporated of Virginia offers early Head Start services to Buchanan, Dickenson, Russell and Washington Counties as well as the City of Bristol.
