For generations teenagers in every small town in America have said the same thing, “There’s nothing to do here.”
The Russell Theatre in Lebanon hopes to change that with the debut of The Fire this Saturday.
“We’re trying something new,” stated director Shane Farmer. “The Fire is a new monthly night created just for teen acts, ages 13-19.”
Farmer added, “It will be a place to hang out with friends, listen to music, play games, compete for prizes, grab some food and signature sips and just have fun.”
Since the debut of The Fire takes place in October, the first event will have a Halloween Spooktacular theme.
There will be a costume contest, lip sync battle, as well as games and prizes.
Admission is $5. The Fire will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will conclude at 10 p.m. For more information, visit https://www.therusselltheatre.com/other-events.
