The ever-popular Sunday Songwriters Series returns to The Russell Theatre this weekend.
The series is a partnership between the theatre and Give Life Ministries.
“This partnership is dedicated to fostering a vibrant environment for local artists while also promoting uplifting and inspiring music that resonates within the Appalachian Region,” stated Shane Farmer, Director of The Russell Theatre. “The goal of these events is not only to entertain but also to encourage a sense of community and connection among attendees and performers alike. Each concert serves as a platform for local artists to share their stories behind the songs they have written.”
Performing this Sunday, October 25, will be Chloe and Jake Angeles, Adam Bolt, and Seth McKay. The concert will begin at 3 p.m. and admission is $20..
Farmer said the partnership with Give Life Ministries will lead to big things in 2027.
“Looking ahead, we are excited about the plans for 2027, where we aim to bring a renowned Christian artist to The Russell Theatre,” he said. “This initiative reflects our commitment to continually elevate the quality of performances and provide our audience with the opportunity to experience music that uplifts the spirit and enriches the soul. By collaborating with Give Life Ministries, we are able to tap into a network of talented musicians who share our vision of spreading hope and inspiration through their art and our region.”
