The Russell County Industrial Development Authority will host a public forum on a proposed data center project at the Russell County Industrial Complex on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. The forum will be held in the Conference Center of the Government Center Building, 139 Highland Drive, Lebanon. It is free and open to the public.
The IDA owns about 234 acres at the Russell County Industrial Complex (formerly part of the Moss 3 site), a reclaimed coal mine property off Gravel Lick Road near the town of Cleveland. IDA representatives will share background on the property since taking ownership and the due diligence completed since then. Oasis Digital Properties, the project developer, will present the proposed project, its timeline to date, and next steps. Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions and share concerns.
“This forum is the start of a conversation between Oasis and our community, and we’re glad to facilitate this important dialogue that informs the best path forward on this potential project,” said Laura Gilmer, executive director of the Russell County IDA.
The project is still in development, and no construction has begun.
