The Lebanon Lions Club has announced the winners of the 2026 Independence Day parade float competition.
There was a tie for first place. Cedar Realty and Lebanon United Methodist Church will share first place honors.
The Cedar Reality float featured a backyard barbeque scene. The Lebanon United Methodist Church float paid homage to the men of Russell County who fought at the Battle of Kings Mountain during the American Revolution.
Second place went to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. That entry featured members of the local VFW.
Spring City Baptist Church placed third. The church’s float featured a large American flag with a banner proclaiming “One Nation Under God.”
“The Lebanon Lions Club thanks all of the people who participated in the celebration,” stated parade coordinator Larry Johnston.
