Russell County officials are updating the county’s comprehensive plan and are seeking public input.
“Russell County is updating its Comprehensive Plan, which will help guide decisions about growth, economic development, infrastructure, housing, recreation, and community services over the next 10–20 years,” read a statement on the Russell County Board of Supervisors’ social media. “Your input is important, and we encourage everyone to take a few minutes to complete the survey. Thank you for helping shape the future of Russell County!”
The community survey asks:
What area of Russell County do you live in?
What is your age group?
How would you rate your overall quality of life in Russell County?
Which concentration areas are the MOST important to the future of Russell County?
What do you believe is Russell County’s greatest strength?
What is the biggest challenge facing Russell County?
What type of economic development would you most like to see in Russell County?
What improvements would most improve your community? (select up to three)
Looking ahead 20 years, what should be Russell County’s highest priority?
Do you believe Russell County is headed in the right direction?
