Honaker Elementary School is asking county residents to help a family in need. A house fire robbed a Honaker family of all of their belongings.
The family, who officials are keeping anonymous, includes a woman and two small boys, ages six and eight.
The six-year-old boy wears sizes seven-eight in clothing and a size two in shoes. The eight-year-old boy is a size 10/12 in pants, size 14 in shirts and a size three and a half in shoes.
The woman is a size double large in shirts and leggings. Her shoe size is 10.
“The two boys lost everything,” the school said in a statement. “So if you have anything that you think they would like, I’m sure they’d be happy with it.”
Donations may be dropped off at J&A Farme Supply and the Food Dude in Honaker, Dominion Office in Lebanon and Southwest Virginia Star Project in Swords Creek.
